Boccia coach awarded role with AIS coach program
We are pleased to annouce that Bruna Accurso, Boccia Australia Talent Development Coach (QLD) has been successful in securring a spot on the 2025/2026 AIS National Generation 2032 Coach Program.
The AIS National Generation 2032 Coach Program is an intensive coach development program for aspiring pathway and early career high performance coaches.
The program aims to increase the number and diversity of Australian high performance career coaches who can contribute positively to future Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games.

Dual-sport gold medallist Lauren Parker was crowned Australia’s Paralympian of the Year at a stunning gala ceremony at RACV Resorts Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.
Boccia Australia High Performance program was very surprised and proud to be awared the Paralympics Australia President’s Award. Well done to High Performance Manager Caroline Walker, Coach Ken Halliday, President Richard Boele, Athletes and all the BA team for an outstanding year.

Women’s Mentor Program
Applications will open in December 2024 for the ASC Women's Mentor Program for community coaches and officials who identify as women. During this program, coaches and officials will be supported by the ASC team to develop and implement mentor programs, and drive gender equity and positive sport experiences for women and girls within their club or organisation. ·
