Classification (all classes):
All athletes will require at least a provisional classification to participate in the 2015 Boccia Australia National Titles. Any new athletes should refer to the APC Boccia page http://www.paralympic.org.au/sports/boccia and follow the steps to request a classification ASAP.
Athletes requiring classification should be available from 9am onwards on Sunday 3rd May 2015. There is limited flexibility to cater for individual requests for classification times, so athletes requiring classification must plan their travel accordingly to be available.
Anti-Doping (all classes):
Ultimate responsibility for complying with the Anti-Doping Policy falls on the athlete and we would like to ensure that all National level athletes (section 4.4 of the BA ADP) who need to use a prohibited substance or prohibited method for therapeutic reasons are aware that they need to apply to Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee (ASDMAC) for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) at least 30 days before the Athlete’s next Competition by completing the form at www.asdmac.gov.au with assistance from their doctor.
Please refer to the Anti-Doping section of the Boccia Australia Website for further information: http://www.boccia.com.au/about/AntiDoping/
