Registrations are now open! Boccia Australia is very excited to host the 2025 ACT Titles for the first time at the Australian Institute of Sport.

There is no need to book a hotel in Canberra. The AIS has offered Boccia athetes a very competitive deal of  accommodation and meals on site for the three days.

Registration Information

Location:    The Basketball and Netball Centre, Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Leverrier Street, Bruce ACT

The campus covers an area of around 65 hectares and is approximately seven minutes from the centre of Canberra. Free on-site parking is available.

Dates:            Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd February 2025

Entry fee:      $175 per athlete for Registration only +  $ 225 for accomodation and meals for all three days and nights! Accomodation and meals also open to support workers.

Registrations and payment can only be done online through the Boccia Australia website.

Event Registration Information:

Open to all classifications and Open athletes. Classification will not be available at the competition and all athletes should have a provisional classification.  See https://www.boccia.com.au/test/classification

All athletes, ramp operators and sports assistants will need to be members of Boccia Australia. 

Competition Format

The Competition will be focuessed on singles. If time and registration numbers will be limited for each classification. If time permits on Sunday there will be mixed team event, the composition can be clubs or states and decided by the TD. Please tick the teams / pairs selection if you would like to participate.

All 2022-24 World Boccia rules will be applied with the Australian Variations.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at the AIS and is within walking distance of the venue. The three-storey Residence of Champions has a range of self-contained pods with four to six single bedrooms. An additional bed can be added if necessary. Each pod includes a shared kitchenette, bathroom, laundry facilities and a common lounge space. All levels and pods are wheelchair accessible and compliant with one fully accessible bathroom per pod.

Accommodation at the AIS includes meals in the dining hall. Meals vary each day with a range of hot and cold buffet selections at each meal, including a variety of beverages.  

Photography

There will be a photographer at the event. Boccia Australia may publish the photographs taken or use them publicity at the time or in the future. If you do not want your photograph to be taken, please talk to the photographer directly.
